The BBVA Open Talent 2015 finalists share some of their tips on how to launch startups with financial inclusion solutions.
Two billion people all over the world do not have access to a bank account. It is a massive market niche which fintech startups need to take advantage of.
Ana Barrera, from Aflore, the Latin America finalist, stressed how important it was to have this kind of financial solutions to be able to draw people from all over the world to banks.
In the USA final, WeFinance, which was co-funded by Willy Chu, approached these types of solutions from a different angle: with the idea of using social media to make them more social and to build upon the changes taking place through fintech.
Here the winner of the special Financial Inclusion prize, Jorge Camus, from the Destácame startup, is particularly noteworthy.
