The program, organized by Accenture and IE Business School and with BBVA among its collaborating entities, is in its fourth edition with the support of nine public and private entities.
The fourth edition of Pasion>ie has begun, Passion for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a competition that has become one of the most important driving initiatives for all entrepreneurs in our country. Its aimis to realize the ideas of entrepreneurs,so if you are an entrepreneur and have an idea for a project, you have until December 7 to sign up in one of three categories: The city of the future, The health of the future and The commercial distribution of the future.
This program, driven by Accenture and IE Business School and with BBVA among its collaborating entities,offers winners,in addition to help in promoting, marketing, training, funding and legal advice,an exciting prize offering: ranging from vouchers to spend in establishments to insurances chemes to visits to innovation centers in Spain or the United States
The projects that can compete in the program include those carried out by students from universities and business schools,researchers and university staff as well as entrepreneurs and startups seeking the final impetus to move forward with their projects.
All finalists will be mentored by one of the collaborating entities; Madrid City Council (InnovationA rea), BBVA, Endesa, Ferrovial, Makro, Repsol ,Rousaud Costas Duran, Madrid Health Service and Zurich.
In addition to assessing the interest and viability of the projects, these institutions will have priority in funding or collaborating with those that may be of interest to them.
Last year's winners were Nbox Project in The City of the Future category, Pensumo in The Commercial distribution in the future category, and Marsi Bionics in The Health of the future category, respectively
These winning projects involve major technological and or conceptual innovations and are generating much interest by programs that are similar to Pasion>ie; as is the case of Marsi Bionic at the recent Spain Start up Summit. More over the three projects have already evaluated offers from investors and potential agreements that can be concluded in the near future.
